I am being pulled back to manipulating forms into more organic shapes. 
Back in college I loved carving wax and hammering steel to create more fluid forms, pushing against the hard nature of the material. With porcelain, it is so much easier! 
These pieces were the first two where I approached the idea of lifting from the base and rim, not a static flat base or rim. I like where this is going!
